Jasmine Brooke White - Actress
Jasmine Brooke White, a native of Bloomfield, Connecticut,
graduated with honors from the Savannah College of Art & Design in
2004 with a degree in Media & Performing Arts. While in college, she
acted in student films as well as various stage productions. She was
the first recipient of the Gregory Hines Scholarship Award for
Excellence in Performing Arts. She was also an Irene Ryan nominee in
the American College Theater Festival in 2002 and 2003. In 2004 she
won the senior award for Outstanding Achievement in Media and
Performing Arts and she also was featured in a student film, Cardiac
Arrest which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival that year.
Since her graduation from the Savannah College of Art & Design, she
not only was cast in Red Thread, but she also made her professional
theater debut playing Barbara in a production of Shear Madness
which ran through the summer of 2005.
Jasmine plans to pursue a career in film and television as well as on
Broadway.
