Diana Ortega Arrambide - Production Designer
Daughter of a set designer, from an early age Diana helped her father with storyboards, concept sketches and decorating sets. In 1994
she earned a degree in Graphic Design with an award for outstanding illustrations. Diana got her first job as a Photo Editor
at Estudio Segarra. She was soon promoted to Art Director working for international ad agencies and handling clients like VW, Colgate, and
Avon Cosmetics. In 1996 she completed a postgraduate study in Contemporary Art. In 1998 Diana joined Miami Art Works and opened her
own Art Studio. In 2000 she was hired by Discovery Channel as a Graphics Producer. Among her duties was supervision of on air and off
air marketing promos for the five Discovery Networks. Diana was also credited as a Set Designer for a show that aired in 2001.
She earned an MFA in 3D Animation at SCAD. Diana's many artistic skills offered her a solid foundation for her work as a Production
Designer for Red Thread.
She is currently in the completion stages of her first animated short film and in preparation to start working on a feature film production.
